Roller Coaster's and Ferris Wheels
I have never been on a real roller coaster in my life. I don't like them and really don't like going around and around and up and down 3 million feet off the ground. It would seem like 3 million if I was riding one. I went on a Ferris Wheel once with my younger cousin and I hated that. I didn't like being that high in the air and depending on a 20 year old, the ride person, to get me down safely. And it didn't help much when we got to the top my cousin thought that it was funny to rock the seat we were sitting in. I pretended that it didn't bother me but I was so glad to have my feet back on the ground.
This week has been like a roller coaster and Ferris Wheel all wrapped up into one. It is like my feet have never hit the ground one time this week. It was a week of frustrations and one thing after another. When you solved one problem ten more problems popped up and I was like thinking, I need to get off of this ride now. Of course this is the ride of life and the only way to get off of it is to die. I don't want to die any time soon.
So, I went places to solve problems, was on the phone for a grand total of 3 hours this week, not in a row but at different times, and wrote too many e-mails to too many people I didn't even know personally. In the beginning of the week, it started off being around 80 degrees and went to 95 degrees in two days so I know having the fan on all day and all night probably didn't do a thing for my electricity bill but it had to be on or we all would have melted like Frosty the Snowman when the sun came out.
But, now it is Friday. My week is not really over. I really don't get some rest from the "madness" until Sunday and Monday. Those two days are my try to do as little as possible days. Sometimes it actually works. Nevertheless, I got through the week. Now, my feet are finally back on the ground, at least for tonight. And I am happy about that.
