Creativity

Spring break has sprung. It has rained every day this week of spring break. Today in between the rain breaks we managed to venture out and do a couple of errands. That outing prevented my son and I from going completely stir crazy today. We managed to miss any rain and sprinkles and returned home. After lunch we were trying to think of what to do besides sitting in front of a computer of television all day long.
I checked to see if the painting supplies weren't packed up in our moving when we find a place box and luckily they weren't. So, we covered the kitchen/painting table with newspapers and filled an empty egg carton with assorted water paints and away we went. We ventured into the creative zone. Armed with paint brushes and something similar to canvas we put those paintbrushes and minds to work. My son said he was making a sort of king. I said OK. I made something too. We finished around the same time. My son laughed at my attempt to paint flowers but he also said he liked them. I am no artist but I try. He showed me his picture and I told him it was amazing. Now he is calling himself the amazing artist J. I smiled and agreed, totally.

We made 4 paintings today between us and all of them will be hung in their places in the art gallery/walls of our new house when we find one and they will all be amazing.
