Spring Has Sprung
It's spring. Yay! My favorite time of the year. Or at least one of my favorite times of the year. I love the blooming flowers and the leaves returning to the trees. I even love the spring rain. The rain like we are having today. More then just spring rain more like spring thunderstorms and lightening storms. A thunderous welcome to spring and spring break.
Usually spring break doesn't bring a lot of spring rain. And usually spring break doesn't come at the beginning of April. But, things change. So instead of planning a lot of park visits and outside playing plans have changed to finding indoor not so boring things to do with my son. In between the thunderstorms and small bouts of sun we managed to go outside and do what little boys like to do on a rainy day, jump and splash in rain puddles. Of course, its wet and muddy and messy but its also fun. I haven't splashed in a puddle in a long time. It doesn't rain as much as it should here so when it does we jump in puddles!
