Rest In Peace
I call my friend the grim reaper because every time or almost every time he logs onto Facebook he tells me someone from his high school class has died. He's not that old either. He's 47. So, all the people he knew in high school are no older then 50ish. In one month he told me about 4 people dying. I told him to stay off of Facebook. Of course he just laughed at the thought and knew I was kidding, sort of. After all, not many people give up Facebook in my circle of friends.
Last night I logged on and saw a woman I went to high school with picture and the comments all read rest in peace. I was shocked at first then sadness filled my heart. About 3 or 4 years ago we friended eachother on Facebook. She was in the class ahead of me and was the cousin of one of my friends as well. She was one of the nicest persons I knew. Always smiling too. I looked at her picture and she still looked the same as I remembered in high school.
I thank God for everyday I am here on this earth. I hope I am blessed with many more years and when my time is done I hope people smile when think of me just as I smile when I think of beautiful Rose.
May she rest in peace and all that have gone before her rest in peace too.
