Mystery Solved

Around here sometimes things just seem to disappear into a black hole. I am not sure where that black hole is though. Sort of like when you put 3 pairs of socks in the dryer and only two pair come back. That is an unsolved mystery that may never be solved around here either.

But, today a mystery was solved. When m nephew went to the dentist, Western Dental, he came back with an electric toothbrush that they told him he should use for his teeth because he had some over crowding or something like that. I was only half paying attention when he told me, I was in a tired haze at the time, so, he decided the best place to keep it was in the bathroom which makes sense but what didn't make sense was the location. He chose the back of the toilet. Not good for many reasons but the main reason is that in that bathroom it is so tiny that the toilet paper holder is not good for much of anything but decoration because it is on the wall near the toilet but the toilet is so close to the wall where the thing hangs that if you are sitting on the toilet taking care of business something is going to hit that holders as in a leg, thigh, etc..so you are not really going to be able to use it unless you swiveled around to the opposite side of the toilet and then get some paper and then swiveled back again after you got the paper in your hand and if you need more paper same process. Since nobody wants to do all that the paper is placed on the back of the toilet. He placed his new toothbrush back there too and for obvious reasons I told him that was not the best place for it thinking he would say yeah, let me move it but nope the opposite. He looked at me like I had two heads and kept it there. Hence, the mystery started this morning when he couldn't find the brushes that go on top of the toothbrush. He looked and looked and I said perhaps that they fell on the floor or even worse the garbage which is 1 foot from the sink which is 2 feet from the toilet.

He said he looked. Well, he didn't look good enough because it was found on the floor next to the trash can. I don't know if he is ever going to want to put them in his mouth again, I wouldn't, but mystery  over. And from now on he has placed the toothbrush in another location. Now, if only the mystery of the socks could be solved as easily.
