Believer
The other night there was nothing really on TV that I really wanted to watch so I was channel surfing as usual and came across a program on Lifetime. I can't remember the exact name of it but it was about people with strange jobs and one of the people had a job as a physic healer. I never really believed much in physic healers since the day my friend convinced me to call some 900 number back in the day and the woman on the other end of the phone said that by the time I was 32 I was going to have twins. I was 35 when I made the call and so if those twins I was supposed to be having would have been 3 years old. Then she told me I would marry at 39. That never happened either. I took it all with a grain of salt so to say and 4 minutes later ended the phone call which cost me like $12 for her to tell me nothing. I told my friend she owed me $12 and laughed. Nothing she said to my friend ever came true either. So, apparently that woman was just working the phones trying to get a pay check by keeping you on the phone as long as she could trying to figure out what you wanted to hear. So, I never gave that much thought again.
Not until I saw this show on Lifetime. I was amazed by this woman and really liked her. I am not saying I have any abilities to talk to dead people but sometimes I think I feel the spirits of loved ones that have died around me. I don't talk to them I just think I feel them sometimes looking over me or watching out for me sort of like guardian angels. All the time I was watching this show I kept feeling the presence of my dad and my grandmother. My dad passed away when I was a kid and my grandmother passed away about ten years ago. I really didn't think too much of it at the time. I was just glad that they were there.
The next morning I was getting dressed. My nephew came to my room and said that there was something wrong with the computer, he thinks that in a former life I was a computer technician or something and can fix all computers, I can't. But I came in the kitchen where the computer is sitting on a large card table along side of the printer and the screen was just like he said black. I turned to the computer for a minute and then noticed my mom. My nephew had taken a seat next to her and she was sitting in her chair, the one I got her for Christmas, and she looked sort of "off" so my nephew started asking if she was okay. My mom didn't respond. She looked like she was in a trance sort of. I went over and shook her and called her name and nothing. So, it was time to call 911. I called 911 and lots of firemen showed up and two cops. She was unresponsive to them too. She was taken to the hospital and they started IV's and all the rest of the stuff that they do and slowly she began to talk like her normal self. She is still in the hospital and they are running scans to see if they can find the cause of this.
But, I know that if the computer hadn't gone out I would have taken longer to get dressed and that could have been a disaster. I knew that i was supposed to come in the front room when I did to do what I needed to do for my mom and the next weird thing that happened was that the computer screen came back on by itself after we found out that my mom was talking and alert at the hospital. The minute my nephew, who rode in the ambulance with her, called and said that she was talking and alert the screen came on minutes later.
I can only consider that as a sign from the spirits. Mostly my dad and grandmother.
