Put on Your Black Shoes and Dance!

I ordered my mom some new shoes the other day and they came today. This is the second attempt to order her some non slip shoes  or slip resistant shoes whatever they are called. The first pair didn't go over so well with her.  In spite of the fact before I ordered them I asked her if they would be okay. But, I guess she changed her mind when they got here and she saw them in person. Good thing we wear the same shoe size. These I hope she likes. I think that they are more her style.  She told me that other ones had a shoe string and she doesn't like to tie shoes now. I was like okay then. But, now that I think about it she is right she never really wore too many pairs of shoes that I have seen her wear with shoe strings. I really don't care about such things as long as they fit, look cool enough for me and are comfortable I am good. 

Hopefully when she gets home she will delight in the fact that she has new shoes that she actually likes.  I am anticipating the look of sheer delight on her face and I know that I might be expecting a bit too much and I would take a small smile. And I would take some walks outside with her in the sunshine and the rain with her again. 

So, I will see what the magic of the shoes will bring for her in hopefully another few days when she returns home.  I know right now she wants to click her heels and say there is no place like home and magically appear in the house and I would like that too.
