Let's Them EAT CAKE

Today has been rather stressful as days go these days. Yesterday my mom said she wanted french fries and a bugar. Well, I told her that we didn't have any potatoes and I would get some the next day and make her some fries and a bugar. Yesterday I went to the store and got what I needed and today for lunch I asked her if she still wanted the burger and fries and she said yes of course she was half asleep when she said it but I figured that she probably still had a craving for it so I peeled the potatoes, cooked the burger and sweated in the kitchen. It is always hot in this kitchen when you turn on the stove. I put it on a plate for her and her tray and told her lunch was ready. She gave me a look like what is this? I said, reading her mind, this is lunch a burger and fries. She said oh no today she wanted cake. I made sure she really wanted cake before I took the tray away and went back into the kitchen to get the cake. I was thinking REALLY? But, if she wanted cake then cake she shall have. It was her birthday a couple of days ago and so we still had cake left. 

I cut her a big piece of cake and she happily ate it and asked if we had ice cream. We didn't. I told her I would get some tomorrow. I have a feeling that tomorrow she won't want ice cream she will want something else that I don't have. But, I am sort of used to that by now. I joke with her that now she eats like my son. If he could have cake for breakfast, lunch and dinner he would and rice crispy treats in between. Of course he today his grandmother had cake and so guess what? Only for today we all had cake for lunch.
