Sneeze, cough, and Repeat
I knew that this would happen. All of my son's friends were sick and one was coughing like he was going to cough up a lung a few days ago. The kid stayed home from school but still played outside when it was time to come in as my mom would say. So, that really didn't help keeping germs away. So, first my son got it and was down and out for a few days. He said his throat and stomach hurt and he had a slight fever. Now, he has a slight cough and runny nose. Another kid had the runny nose and stomach issues. But, since that kid was walking his dogs yesterday I guess he recovered or recovered at least enough to walk his dogs.
Yesterday at the test my throat was starting to get a little scratchy and I had the urge to cough but I suppressed my coughing urges because I didn't want to cough all over the people at my table. So, when I got home I was feeling pretty much okay until the night time, the right time for germs to kick in. Funny how I always feel worse at night.
So, today I really don't feel like moving around too much but when you take care of a senior who I affectionately call MOM and homeschooling my son and waiting for the repair man to come later to fix the wall in the bathroom resting is not on the menu for today or probably not tomorrow either. This reminds me of when my son was a baby and I wasn't feeling well but still had to take care of him because there was nobody else to help. So, you just do what you have to do sick or not. Life goes on.
So, on I go to cook, straighten up so the fixer guy can come and do his job in the bathroom between 1-3 (they remind me of Comcast with the time thing) and find my mom's shoes which are not lost but to her if they are not on her feet they are lost she is obsessed with shoes. (them being on her feet)
Hopefully this won't last long...The headache, sore throat, and stomach pains. On the bright side I have no fever! Yay!!!
